Listen, you could troll social media feeds, check other finder-of pet sites, visit numerous shelters, OR you could tell us about yourself and what you want and we send you matches as soon as they are listed. WORK SMARTER, NOT HARDER!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF
Imagine we’re friends sitting at your favorite Mexican restaurant. We’re intently listening to you while you’re spilling all the tea. As we shovel chips and queso in our mouths then awkwardly lick the salt rim of a marg, we notice that you like your marg on the rocks, no salt, and prefer super spicy chips and salsa over queso. We take it all in and use our arguably better-than-FBI profiling skills to assess and match you with your next best friend! We’re that friend! The one you can give a few details to about a person you are thinking about going on a date with, and we find that they were named after their grandparent, received a stuffed llama for their 8th birthday, and are allergic to avocados in a mere 45 seconds. Ok, we’re not that creepy, but you get the point.
UNLEASH THE BOOP
We’ll notify you when animals match your preferences. Review the profiles and BOOP the ones you like! Share your BOOPS with friends, family, and partners, and once you’re ready to meet that cutie, it’s time to connect with the rescue or shelter. You can also easily submit an application for the animal through the app if you’re sure you want to adopt that furbaby.
CHAT WITH THE ANIMAL SHELTER OR RESCUE
Set up a time with the shelter or rescue to meet the animal in person. Since you will be adopting directly from the shelter or rescue, they always have the final say on whom they give an animal to. They may ask more questions, do a home visit, references to ensure its a great match. Fingers crossed that a great match was made!

Every animal adopted through The Boop Project will be given a unique QR code that follows them through life. Add it to their pet tag for easy return if they go on a self-guided adventure, keep track of medical history, store their medication list, contact information, and anything else you’d want a good pet Samaritan to know about your pet to keep them safe.
