Shelters and rescues, you already have your work cut out for you. At The Boop Project, we recognize how hard you work to get animals into homes whether it's forever or a foster. That's where The Boop Project can help.
The Boop Project already populates the app with shelter animals via the 501(c)3 organization, RescueGroups.org. If your shelter or rescue organization's pet inventory is not already part of that database, we can integrate your shelter's animals via the API of whichever existing software management system you use. If you have a smaller organization that doesn't use a shelter managment software, you can still use the app! You can manually enter the animals in your care into the app. Once your animals are on the app, we match them with potential fosters or adopters based on the needs of the animal and the preferences, lifestyle, personality, previous pet experience, and a range of other factors of the potential foster or forver parent that contribute to better longterm outcomes for the animals. We also help streamline submitting applcations, communication, and approval processes all in the app.
We are committed to finding homes for shelter and resuce animals in our communities. To ensure this, only 501(c)3 organizatinos are permitted to participate in The Boop Project.
Right now, The Boop Project automatically populates shelter and rescue animals into the app using RescueGroups.org's API. If your shelter is not part of RescueGroup.org's network, you can still take advantage of The Boop Project app. Please reach out to technical support and let us know you'd like your shelter's pet inventory included on the app and we'll contact you directly.
No! The all services on the app are free to use for all qualified shetlers and rescues.
Your organization maintains the final vetting and verifying of potential foster and forever homes just as it always have been. But we'll do our best to help match your animals to the best forever and foster homes before sending them your way. Think of The Boop Project app as a more efficient and effective way of communicating with people who want to help foster or are ready adopt. Once a match is made, the app user will contact you through the app where upon your organization can complete the adoption or foster process according to your procdures and policies.
